| Mr. Smith has worked with Mayo Clinic, Medifocus and Sensors for Medicine and Science providing services in Product Design, Manufacturing, Quality Systems and Regulatory Compliance, as a independent medical device design and program management consultant. From 2000 to 2007 Mr. Smith worked as the VP Engineering for Celsion Corporation completing the successful design, commercial launch, and sale to Boston Scientific of Prolieve a Class 3 PMA Medical device for the treatment of BPH in men along with work on cancer treatment medical devices . From 1985 to 1995, Mr. Smith served as Director of Engineering and a member of the Board of Directors of Cheung Laboratories from 1985 to 1995. From 1995 to 2000, Mr. Smith was Director Engineering and a member of the executive staff for Talla-Com Industries Inc, a division of Tadiran Electronics (Israel), manufacturing and designing high power RF amplifiers for the US Military Communications marketplace. Mr. Smith was educated in the United Kingdom at the University of Manchester Institute of Technology and the Reading College of Technology. |
